What you can do

Archive a wallet

Archive a wallet you no longer use. Control Center stops tracking it but keeps its history.
  1. Open the wallet. Select Archive Account.
  2. Read the message. Select Archive.
Archive Account? dialog with Cancel and Archive buttons

Archiving keeps the wallet's history.

If the wallet still holds Bitcoin, your total will drop by that amount. The funds are still in your wallet. Control Center just stops counting them.
Archived wallets appear under Archived at the bottom of Accounts. From there:
  • Restore brings the wallet back.
  • Delete Permanently removes it and all its history. This can’t be undone.
Past balances of archived wallets still show in your All accounts history.

Abandon an unfinished wallet

A pending wallet has an Abandon button. It removes the wallet and its history. Use it to cancel a setup you don’t want to finish.
Abandon Account Setup? dialog

Abandon removes an unfinished setup.

Remove an exchange, manual, or ETF account

Open the account. Select Remove Account.
This deletes the account and all its history immediately. There is no confirmation and no undo. For Strike, imported statements are deleted too.

Add the same wallet again

Adding a wallet you archived shows “This account is archived”. Restore it from Archived instead. Adding a wallet that’s already tracked takes you to the existing account. It does not create a duplicate.
